Terming oneself after getting hold of HTC Legend as excited will surely be an understatement!
The phone surely tempts you for almost point of no return with its sleek unibody design and a brilliant AMOLED display followed by a brushed metallic finish, the Legend is an attractive handset.
The HTC Desire, HD Mini and Smart are to follow shortly. The HTC Hero (also marketed as T-Mobile G2 Touch in the UK, Austria, Germany, Croatia, the Netherlands and Hungary, and Era G2 Touch in Poland) – it is the third device so far produced by HTC corporation for the Android  platform, as part of the A series.
Notably, it is the first phone of that series to feature a 3.5 mm audio jack, multi-touch capability, the HTC Sense user interface, and a “Lite” version of Adobe Flash.  The phone was unveiled on June 24, 2009 in London for the first time.
HTC Hero becomes HTC LEGEND by announcing new mobile HTC LEGEND in February 2010.  It is 126g phone with ergonomic dimensions of 112 x 56.3 x 11.5 mm supporting 16M colors for AMOLED 3.2 inch capacitive touch screen. It is loaded with new technologies like

Applications & Operating System:
The device runs Android 2.1 operating system with customized HTC home screen plug-in for HTC android devices. In latest Sense UI, pinch to zoom or window tabbing feature has added a value to the device sense UI.  Pinching on the LCD screen reveals an amazing quality as it shows 4 to 5 multiple windows on the same screen and by touch on any window will see the phone active on the screen. It’s more seems like Windows 7 Aero function of tabbing windows by pressing (Windows key + Tab key) on the keyboard.
Camera and Location based capabilities:
It has 5 mega pixel camera with LED flash light and autofocus. It is equipped with 3.5 mm stereo audio output jack on top of phone with best sound quality. It is also ready with features like Digital compass, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor.
Multimedia Formats and features:
It support maximum multimedia formats like for playing videos it supports, .3gp, .3g2, .mp4, .wmv , .avi , and for audio formats like .wav, .mp3, .aac, .amr, .mid, .wma . You can also increase its multimedia capability by installing third party applications capable of playing new audio and video formats. However, it is also enriched with multimedia function like FM radio and volume adjuster.
Connectivity Features:
Its connectivity options are surely unmatched with maximum connectivity options like WIFI, Bluetooth, HTC Sync, Exchange Servers, web emails, Micro USB 2.0, GPRS, EDGE, 3G and internet tethering sharing through USB. It offers 490 Minutes of talk time and 440 hours of standby time for GSM. However do not forget talk times are actually subjected to network and phone usage.
